Visitors are encouraged to check the Royal National Park local alerts before travelling for updates on precinct access. Walking trails may also be closed due to total fire bans and/or risks, so plan ahead. Roads or carparks may close within the Royal National Park when they reach capacity. The following locations may be affected:

Drivers will be unable to proceed westbound in Prince Charles Parade between Silver Beach Road and Balboa Street. Drivers will also be unable to turn left from Dampier Street and Silver Beach Road into Prince Charles Parade. Residents in the above section of road will be required to depart in an eastbound (towards Kamay-Botany Bay National Park) direction |
